While Pastor Lee has been on sabbatical, a group of dedicated individuals gathered to learn how to weave. Paired with what Pastor Lee was learning on his travels, their journey of learning the intricate practice of weaving was enriching and provided many metaphors for what we go through in our spiritual lives in a Christian community. As you can see, seven wall hangings were the result of hundreds of hours of learning, making mistakes, and laughing at ourselves with fellow weavers around us. Second from the left, the purple hanging, was crafted (mostly) by our own Kayla Banick. What a marvelous job she did! They will be display this Sunday as we rally toward the coming year. God bless!!
